Die ersten drei Brunnen wurden 1985 errichtet, 2014 kamen zwei weitere Vertikalfilterbrunnen hinzu. Alle Brunnen haben zusammen eine maximale F\u00f6rderleistung von 200 Liter pro Sekunde.\n\nF\u00fcr die beiden zuletzt errichteten Brunnen wird eine UV-Desinfektionsanlage betrieben. Dabei wird der desinfizierende Effekt des Sonnenlichts imitiert. In diesen Hochbeh\u00e4ltern ist auch eine Pumpstation f\u00fcr die Versorgung der Holding Graz \u2013 Kommunale Dienstleistungen GmbH und der Gemeinden untergebracht. Es umfasst zwei Ringleitungen \u2013 einen Hauptring mit 24,5 Kilometer L\u00e4nge und einen 14 Kilometer langen Sekund\u00e4rring sowie Transportleitungen zu den nicht an den Ringleitungen gelegenen Mitgliedern. An diesen Rohrleitungen liegen die \u00dcbergabestationen, an denen das Wasser an die Mitglieder \u00fcbergeben wird. Die Verteilung innerhalb des Versorgungsbereiches der Mitglieder erfolgt im jeweilig eigenen Wirkungsbereich. Die Gesamtanlage wird automatisch betrieben und von der Zentrale in Berndorf aus zentral \u00fcberwacht und gesteuert. Die Finanzierung des \u00fcber 13 Millionen Euro-Projektes erfolgte aus Mitteln des BM f.
